The high temperate weather being experienced in Kaduna State and environs had become a blessing to cold drinks vendors who are making brisk sales.
Some of the vendors said customers now rush for cold drinks to quench their thirst.
Halima Abdulkadir, a Zobo and tiger nut drink seller, said she sells her drinks from home and had been making lots of sales as many people from her neighbourhood patronise her due to the hot weather.
Abdullahi Yusuf, a sachet water vendor said he hawks water in the market and makes enough sales adding that he sold 10 bags of sachet water in a day due to high demand.
Another cold drink vendor, Isah Ibrahim, who sells Fura da Nono said, the weather was favourable for his business adding that he had not gotten any leftover drinks since the heat period started.
He, however, called on the state government to address the issue of epileptic supply of power because it is a major challenge in cold drink business.
Meanwhile, some consumers of cold drinks said they preferred their drinks cold because it served as a refreshment and a thirst quencher.
