Minister of Transport, Rotimi Ameachi, and former minority leader of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio have settled their political differences.
Ameachi and Akpabio were former governors of Rivers and Akwa-Ibom States respectively.
According to the spokesman of the APC Presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo, Ameachi and Akpabio met on Sunday at the residence of one of the directors of logistics for the Buhari campaign council Nasiru Danu.
The meeting lasted for several hours with Amaechi and Akpabio talking about their disagreements during their days as governors in PDP and in the Nigerian Governors’ Forum.
They also reviewed the performance of the party in the South-South in the just-concluded election and identified areas where things went wrong and how to improve those areas in future.
