The International Labour Organisation has announced a €28million project to accelerate the fight against child labour in Nigeria and four other African countries.
The Ambassador of Netherlands to Nigeria, Marion Kappeyne Van De Coppello said that apart from Nigeria, the project, Acceleration of Action in the Elimination of Child Labour in Supply Chains in Africa is also extended to countries like Mali, Malawi, Cote d’ Ivoire, Egypt and Uganda.
The Ambassador said the project is expected to last five-years on the causes of child labour and aims to solve economic and social issues.
