The trial of Farouk Lawal, a former member of House of Representatives
is pending due to ill health of the prosecution witness, Femi Otedola, the Zenon oil and gas boss.
Lawan, who was the chairman of House of Representatives Adhoc committee on petroleum subsidy regime is being prosecuted by the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, on behalf of the Federal Government.
The prosecution counsel, Adegboyega Awomolo, informed the court of Otedola’s illness and tendered a medical report on his behalf.
The case was postponed.
