Some yet to be identified aides of Prince Ned Nwoko, the newly-elected Senator of Delta North Senatorial District have allegedly killed a man, identified as Ugo Nwabono over a land related matter.
An eyewitness, Francis Iwedike, in a telephone interview with Rootstv said Nwabono was killed by Nwoko’s aides from Idumuje-Ugboko.
He disclosed that Nwabono was ambushed when he led some labourers to his farmland.
The youths of the community in anger, however, razed the house of one of the aides suspected to be involved in the killing.

The Delta State Police command has not confirmed the incident but it was gathered that the military and other security operatives have cordoned off the community but no arrests have been made.
The Senator-Elect, Ned Nwoko was not available for comment.
