Ex-CBN Director commends Buhari for reappointing Emefiele
Titus Okunronmu, the former Director of Budgetary of Central Bank of Nigeria, commended President Buhari for reappointing the Godwin Emefiele as CBN Governor.
Okunronmu said that the Buhari’s decision to re-appoint Emefiele would stabilise Nigeria’s macroeconomic decisions.
He added that Monetary stability is a major issue in any economy which CBN governor has achieved.
President Buhari has sent Godwin’s tenure renewal to the Senate for confirmation per the CBN act.
Emefiele will become the first CBN governor to be nominated to serve a second term since the dawn of democracy in 1999.
