The 8th National Assembly, under the leadership of its President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker, Yakubu Dogara holds its valedictory session today to mark the end of its four-year legislative journey.
The Assembly witnessed fierce criticisms and commendations on its four years because it did not enjoy a smooth working relationship with the executive.
However, the Nigerian Twitter community went into a frenzy as some commended the Senate leadership under Bukola Saraki for passing bills which include the Electoral Amendment Bill, Petroleum Industry Governance Bill, Not-Too-Young-To-Run Bill, and the Police Reform Bill.
Others knocked the National leadership blaming it for the late passage of the budget passage and “failure to limit its costs”.
