The All Progressives Governorship Candidate in Kogi State, Yahaya Bello has chosen his Chief of Staff and bosom friend, Edward Onoja as his running mate.
In Form CF. 001 submitted to INEC on Monday, the APC formally presented Bello and Onoja to the Commission as its flag bearers for November 16, 2019, Guber Polls in Kogi State.
Governor Bello won its party’s primary by 3,224 votes.
It was gathered that the nomination of Onoja as running mate to Bello witnessed wild jubilation amongst party chieftains and stakeholders.
Touted as the most trusted ally of the Governor, Onoja is also considered as the lodestone of the APC’s victory in the 2019 General elections.
His nomination came months after the governor fallout with the incumbent Deputy, Simon Achuba.
