The Imo State Election Tribunal dismissed the petition of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and its governorship candidate Sen. Ifeanyi Ararume for lack of merit.
The Tribunal who sat today also dismissed the petition of the candidate of the Action Alliance Party (AAP), Uche Nwosu for lack of competence.
However, the three petitions filed by the governorship candidates of APC and APGA, asking the tribunal to nullify the election of Gov. Ihedioha, on the grounds of being unlawfully declared as the winner of election by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), were all dismissed.
