A former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Timi Frank has said that the rumbles surrounding the Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo is allegedly due to corruption and does not have anything to do with a 2023 ambition.
Frank revealed from a reliable source that the allegation against Osinbajo bothered on the mismanagement of funds in Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) where N90 billion was released for the last election in favour of the APC.
Frank said “When confronted by the presidency, he confirmed to President Buhari that he indeed allegedly took N90 billion from FIRS but it was used for the 2019 presidential election campaign in strategic states of the South-west.
The Political activist insisted that if the information is true, Osinbajo must resign his position as Vice President in order to send a strong message to Nigerians that Buhari’s anti-corruption fight is not sabotaged.
