The former Anambra State Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Indigenous Artworks, Culture and Tourism, Christian Madubuko has been rescued by soldiers after two weeks of his abduction.
Christian Madubuko resigned on the 11th of December, 2020 after he was accused of corruption. A statement had said;
“…corruption in the system as his reason for bowing out and called on the Governor, Chief Willie Obiano to rise up and be in charge of his government.”
The commissioner’s wife raised alarm on social media when her husband went missing on January 13th, 2021, alleging that her husband had been kidnapped.
Confirming the incident, the APGA Interactive Forum via its Facebook Page confirmed that the former commissioner was rescued on Sunday the 31st of January, 2021 in Isuochi, Abia State and he’s now back to Awka.
