The Federal Government has raised the alarm of fresh outbreak of Ebola virus in some neighboring nations.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, made this known at the briefing of the Taskforce in Abuja on Monday.
He said surveillance at points of entry were being enhanced by the PTF in response to the recent outbreak of Ebola in neighboring countries, especially Guinea and Congo.
Mustapha said, “We shall keep a keen eye on it to avoid having to combat with the two deadly diseases at the same time.
“This is not a task for government alone but for all Nigerians and indeed all members of the public have a role to play.”
