Bandits have released another set of students kidnapped from the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization in Afaka, Kaduna State, three days after five students were released.
Five students were freed yesterday, bringing the total number of students released so far to 10, with 29 still in captivity.
Sources told Daily Trust that four male and a female student were picked up by the police around Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State and were taken to the hospital.
On Monday, bandits released five students out of the 39 abducted from the school. They were later picked up by the Nigerian Army and conveyed to a hospital for medical attention.
It was reported that following continuous negotiations between the bandits and parents of the students, the bandits hinted that the students would be released in batches.
