The Senate on Tuesday, urged the Federal Government to immortalize the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru.
The red chamber also observed a one minute silence in honor of the deceased as well as the late Ahmed Gulak, a former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan.
This followed a point of order raised by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Army, Senator Ali Ndume.
Ovie Omo Agege, the Deputy Senate President, drew the attention of the Senate to Ahmed Gulak, who was murdered recently in Imo State while on national assignment in Owerri, Imo State.
Omo-Agege condemned the killing and said he was one of the consultants appointed by the Senate Committee on Constitution Review to work on the amendments being sought to the 1999 Constitution.
