Police and personnel of the Department of State Security Services (DSS) on Tuesday barricaded the National Assembly complex over a planned protest by National Assembly Staff under the aegis of Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN).
The leadership of the National Assembly also said the barricade became necessary to prepare the ground for the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 to present the budget proposal to the joint sitting of the Senate and the House of Representatives.
