The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says six ships laden with fuel, automobile gasoline and bulk sugar that had arrived the Lagos port were waiting to berth.
NPA, in its “Daily Shipping Position”, on Tuesday said that another 17 ships at the ports were discharging fuel, bulk wheat, general cargo, containers, bulk urea, bulk gypsum, bulk sugar and frozen fish.
The Authority noted that 23 other ships also laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive at the Lagos port complex from March 15 to March 31.
NPA noted that the ships contained general cargo, bulk gypsum, base oil, bulk salt, automobile gasoline, petrol, frozen fish, sugar, containers and butane gas.
