Nigeria’s flight carriers, Air Peace and Azman, has suspended operations to the Kaduna International Airport following the recent spate of attacks in the state.
Recall that last weekend, bandits gunned down a local guard attached to the Nigerian Airspace Management Authority (NAMA) when they attacked the airport.
The military had engaged the bandits in heavy shootout, which led to a delay of a Lagos-bound Azman flight.
On Tuesday, Azman announced an indefinite suspension of its flights to Kaduna over insecurity, followed by Air Peace hours later.
Air Peace Spokesman, Stanley Olisa, confirmed the development.
