President Muhammadu Buhari administered the oath of office to four new Permanent Secretaries at the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja, on Wednesday.
The brief swearing-in ceremony took place shortly before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
The newly sworn in Permanent Secretaries are Beatrice Jiddy-Agba, Kachollom Daju, Shehu Ibrahim, and Mary Ogbe.
Before the FEC meeting began, a minute silence was observed in honor of a former member of the Council, Tonye Graham-Douglas, who died on the 25th of April.
In attendance were Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo; Secretary to the Government, Boss Mustapha; Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Gambari.
Others include National Security Adviser, retired Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno; Head of Civil Service, Folashade Yemi-Esan and nine ministers.
