Court has rejected the request of Kogi West Senator Dino Melaye over the continuous siege at his Abuja residence by the police.
He had approach the court to order the police to vacate his residence and cease from further attempts to arrest him.
The court refused the application but ordered that the substantive suit be granted an accelerated hearing.
The matter was adjourned to January 14.
Police said Melaye is wanted for “Criminal Conspiracy and Attempted Culpable Homicide, committed on 19th July, 2018.”
