Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye has finally left his Abuja residence 8 days after being held up by the police who were to arrest him for alleged culpable homicide.
It was gathered that the senator collapsed in front of lawmakers who were at his residence on a solidarity visit.
Melaye and the visiting lawmakers eventually drove to the Force Headquarters at about 3:00pm to meet the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris.
