The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) has threatened to pull out of the peace accord initiated by the Abdusalami Abubakar-led National Peace Committee if Amina Zakari’s appointment as head of INEC National Collation Centre is not reversed.
Although the Presidency and INEC have denied any blood ties between the President and Zakari, CUPP said the appointment must be revoked for the sake of transparency and fairness.
