There have been mixed reactions to the remark of PDP’s Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar that he is going to sell Nigeria’s National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to his friends.
Atiku had spoken about his intention to privatize NNPC “even if they will kill me” adding that he will not enrich members of his family but his friends saying “”are my friends not entitled to be rich???”

The PIB has already recommended/proposed the conversion of NNPC to NNPC https://t.co/hyr9Zkcawd what Atiku said about selling NNPC is not strange or https://t.co/tj0cOonWp4's an ongoing process even under the APC Government

If Buhari had said, " I will sell NNPC to my friends… are my friends not entitled to be rich"? TwitterNG will not only be on fire from the partisans which is expected. The "fencist" will be having a field day. Let's see how quiet they will be with this.

Atiku speaking in LAGOS today…
"I'm going to sell NNPC even if they're going to kill me. And I'm not going to exclude my friends from buying. Or are my friends not entitled to be rich???"

Your MCM @Atiku Abubakar wants to:
1. Enrich his friends with our collective money
2. Sell NNPC
3. Sack Federal Government workers.
Is this his plan on how to get Nigeria working again? pic.twitter.com/f15HGaFwXY

But If NNPC is privatised, It’ll do better because nobody who owns a business will sit and watch it fail. https://t.co/cShhZK2Zrp
