The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has decided to suspend its two-day warning strike, calling on workers affiliated with its unions to resume work.
The strike aimed to draw the government’s attention to the hardships faced by Nigerians due to the removal of petrol subsidies.
In a letter titled ‘The Two-Day Nationwide Warning Strike: Nigerian Workers Have Spoken,’ NLC President Comrade Joe Ajaero emphasized that the strike had successfully conveyed the workers’ message to the government.
