Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has expressed his disagreement with the judgement of the Presidential Elections Petition Court (PEPC) validating the victory of President Bola Tinubu in the February 25 election.
Speaking at a news conference held at his residence in Onitsha, Anambra State, Obi stated that while the PEPC adhered to the statutory time frames, he completely disagreed with the rationale and final conclusion of the judgement.
The five-member panel of the PEPC, led by Haruna Tsammani, unanimously dismissed the petition filed by the LP candidate and the petitions of the candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
