Former Super Eagles head coach, Samson Siasia, has expressed concern over Victor Osimhen’s injury and its impact on Nigeria’s chances in their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic.
Osimhen, a key player for the team, has been ruled out of the crucial matches due to injury.
The Super Eagles, currently winless in Group C, must secure victories against South Africa and the Benin Republic to stay in contention for World Cup qualification.
The team will face Bafana Bafana in Uyo on Friday, followed by a match against the Squirrels in Abidjan three days later.
