President Bola Tinubu held a private meeting with South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa Thursday at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Johannesburg to discuss enhancing bilateral relations between both countries.
President Tinubu praised Ramaphosa’s inaugural speech, highlighting shared challenges faced by African nations and the need for increased collaboration among leaders.
Ramaphosa was re-elected on June 14, 2024, following a Government of National Unity agreement between the African National Congress (ANC) and the Democratic Alliance. Tinubu, who traveled to South Africa on Tuesday, is expected to return to Nigeria today.
