The Nigerian Government has appointed investment banker Farooq Oreagba as the global ambassador of arts and culture.
The announcement was made by Obi Asika, Director General of the National Council of Arts and Culture (NCAC), in an Instagram post.
Asika displayed the Certificate of Recognition, stating that Oreagba’s impactful presence at the 2024 Ojude Oba festival earned him the title.
Referred to as the “King of Steeze,” Oreagba’s flamboyant attire and horseback ride at the festival brought global attention to Nigerian culture.
