The shooting is being investigated as an assassination attempt and an act of domestic terror. Trump was grazed in the ear but survived. One bystander was killed and two others were critically injured. The Secret Service shot and killed the suspected gunman.

- NNPC Stake In Dangote Refinery Now 7.2% – Dangote
Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote says the Nigerian National Petroleum Company NNPC Limited now owns a 7.2% stake in the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, and not a 20% stake as initially announced before the inauguration of the facility at the Lekki Free Trade Zone.
Dangote, who made this known at a press briefing on Sunday, said NNPC’s stake dropped to 7.2% over the company’s failure to pay their share balance, due in June.

Argentina won a record 16th Copa America title, beating Colombia 1-0 in extra time. Lautaro Martinez scored the winner in the 112th minute after Lionel Messi was substituted with an ankle injury. The victory completes a hat-trick of major titles for Argentina, who also won the 2021 Copa America and 2022 World Cup. Messi, Di Maria, and Otamendi bid farewell to international football.
