In a fiery statement, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) slammed Ahmad Bashir, ex-media aide to former President Buhari, for likening their leader Nnamdi Kanu to bandit kingpin Bello Turji.
IPOB’s spokesman, Emma Powerful, made it clear that Kanu stands for freedom and not terrorism, contrasting him with Turji and “his terrorist brothers.” The group emphasized that Kanu’s only “crime” was establishing the Eastern Security Network (ESN) to protect the Southeast.
Honestly, equating a freedom fighter with a bandit leader is a pretty bold stretch!
