Despite the call in some quarters that Nigeria should return to a parliamentary system of government, recent data released by Pew Research Center has ranked Nigeria 11th of the countries that are satisfied with democratic governance in 2017 with 41%.
The report ranked India, with 79 % as number one country satisfied with the way her democracy was working.
India is followed by Germany on 73 % and Canada (70%).
South Africa leads other African countries in the data with 43%
