Aliko Dangote, Mike Adenuga, Abdulsamad Rabiu and Mrs Folorunsho Alakija with a combined net-worth of $22.7 billion are amongst the 13 richest black persons on the planet.
A recent list released by Forbes Magazine revealed that the Kano-born Aliko Dangote retains the top spot on the black billionaires list with a personal net-worth estimated at $10.9billion.
Mike Adenuga- known mostly for his telecom firm- Globacom- comes second on the list owning assets worth $9.1 billion.
There’s also space for another cement tycoon- Abdulsamad Rabiu- who is worth $1.6 billion while Mrs Folorunsho Alakija completes the Nigerian quadruplet with assets estimated at $1.1 billion
Michael Jordan, Michael Lee-Chin, Oprah Winfrey, Patrice Motsepe, Isabel Dos Santos, Strive Masiyiwa, Robert Smith, David Steward and Mohammed Ibrahim complete the black contingent on the global billionaire list.
