There are indications that the Area Council Elections in Abuja will witness low turn-out as electoral officers seem to be waiting endlessly for voters to come out to exercise their franchise.
Rootstv noted Empty ballot boxes, vacant voting cubicles and idle electoral officers waiting for voters in Abuja and the reason for this were yet to be ascertained.
It was reported that most residents were less interested in the area council elections while some had travelled to their various states to cast their ballot.
Abuja and five other states are not participating in the governorship elections being held today.
