Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dumebi Kachikwu, on Wednesday, formally unveiled Ahmed Buhari as his running mate.
Ahmed, is a former Presidential Candidate under the Sustainable National Party of Nigeria (SNP). He contested for the president’s seat in 2019 which he lost and President Muhammadu Buhari won his second term in office.
The ADC Vice Presidential Candidate was unveiled today in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Born in Niger state, Ahmed prefers to be addressed as a Nigerian as he does not conform to the idea of State of Origin.
The 40 year old, businessman is the CEO of of Skylar Incorporated, an ICT firm based in Lagos. He started a foundation called Ahmed Bee Foundation which has been responsible and associated with social activities to support educational development in Nigeria.
In 2016, the foundation started the Coding for people living with disabilities.
Ahmed attended Cavendish College, London and bagged a Master’s Degree in International Trade and Marketing and then to Manchester Metropolitan University where got trained as a Geographic Information System and Spatial analyst.
