The families of the train victims picketed the Ministry of Transportation on Monday to protest against the continued stay of their loved ones in the terrorists’ captivity.
Their protest comes less than 48 hours after the terrorists, who kidnapped the victims from the Abuja-Kaduna train on March 28, released a video clip showing the male hostages being flogged as the hostages cried and called on the government to rescue them.
The families who have been at the ministry since 6 am said they were there to express their frustration over the continued stay of those in captivity.
They vowed not to leave until they were assured of the return of their loved ones.
On the amount requested as ransom, the relatives lamented about the availability of such amount of money.
