A Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) parish at Alapere, Lagos State, was gutted by fire on Sunday.
A video, which emerged on social media, showed the church in flames, with several cars, including worshippers, alleged to be trapped within.
The cause of the fire or number of casualties could not be ascertained as of the time this report was filed.
A source from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) to newsmen that the incident occurred on Sunday morning and that the fire had since been put out.
