The Orji Divisional Police Station in Imo State was attacked on Tuesday by armed gunmen.
The incident happened hours after hoodlums attacked Iwollo Oghe Police station in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The armed men reportedly stormed the station some minutes after 12pm when hundreds of people, especially parents were going to pick their children from schools in Okigwe-Owerri road.
Some policemen were killed in the attack while the station was razed and some vehicles were also burnt down.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Daniel Ndukwe, when contacted, confirmed the incident but did not go into details.
