Nigerian lawmakers have visited A-29 Super Tucano, the company producing fighter jets for the Nigerian Air Force to combat insurgency.
The Air Force disclosed in a tweet that a delegation from the National Assembly visited the company to assess the progress made on the aircraft.
The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, had said earlier this week that the aircraft will land in Nigeria in August.
Recall that in 2018, President Muhammadu Buhari approved $469.4 million for the purchase of the aircraft in order to boost the fight against insecurity.
