The Nigerian government has said that members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have so far killed 175 security personnel and attacked 164 police facilities across several states.
The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, who disclosed this in a statement released on Friday, said the figures were gotten from findings carried out by the government.
The government also said suspected IPOB members carried out 19 attacks on the facilities of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), resulting in the burning of 18 vehicles.
