Popular socialite and businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu, aka Obi Cubana, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Obi Cubana arrived at the headquarters of the anti graft agency at Jabi, Abuja, on Monday afternoon, where he was interrogated by EFCC operatives.
It was gathered that as of 10:30pm, the Anambra-born business tycoon was still being grilled by the operatives.
Though allegations against the socialite were sketchy as of press time, a source disclosed that his case borders on alleged money laundering and tax fraud.
Reacting to the development, EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, said he was yet to be briefed.
