Bandits have again killed another set of 23 people and injured many others in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
An eyewitness said the bandits attacked two villages in Giwa around 1:00 am on Tuesday.
The latest attack is the fourth in a row in Anguwar Maiwa and Anguwar Kanwa villages.
An eyewitness narrated that “The bandits were seen regrouping on motorbikes as early as 5pm Monday evening and security agents were duly informed. However, the bandits still proceeded to unleash their mayhem.”
He said 22 dead bodies had been discovered with the help of security operatives out of the 23 said to have been killed and subsequently buried.
The eyewitness added that security operatives had succeeded in neutralizing some of the bandits and recovered some kidnapped victims.
