Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has directed the Acting Comptroller General of Immigration, Adepoju Carol Wura-Ola, to take immediate action to alleviate the congestion at passport collection centers.
He emphasized that President Bola Tinubu’s administration is resolute in eliminating excuses and long queues at Passport Offices.
During a meeting with the Acting Comptroller General of Immigration and the Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service, the minister urged them to translate their commitments into tangible outcomes, highlighting the critical need for transformation in the country.
“Nigerians should not have to queue endlessly to get passports. No, this must stop. This is not the Nigeria of our dream. I need to know the challenges the agency is facing”. He said.
