The Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy in Nigeria has announced the commencement of applications for teaching positions under its Build-A-Thon initiative program. Launched in December, the program, according to the Minister of Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani aims to promote early technology adoption among senior secondary students.
The four-day program in January 2024 will involve 1,500 students from 150 schools in Owerri, Maiduguri, and Abeokuta.
The ministry is calling for applications from visionary educators, teachers, and tech enthusiasts to guide the next generation of tech innovators in secondary schools.
