National President of the Association of Mobile Money and Bank Agents in Nigeria AMMBAN, Mr. Fasasi Atanda, has voiced concerns over the Corporate Affairs Commission’s CAC new mandate requiring all Point of Sale POS agents to register their businesses.
Speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria NAN on Monday, Atanda noted that the new CAC mandate is redundant and burdensome, imposing unnecessary financial and administrative hurdles on small business owners.
AMMBAN, representing POS agents, has initiated legal action to challenge the mandate, asserting it unfairly targets their members and could drive many small agents out of business.
