The Peoples Democratic Party has rejected the Presidential results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
PDP Chairman, Uche Secondus at a press briefing in Abuja said the results collated by the party from all polling units in every local government area in Nigeria implied that “results being currently being announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is incorrect thus unacceptable to our party and people”.
Secondus also stated that the officials of both President Buhari’s government and the All Progressive Congress (APC), had worked with INEC to alter figures where the PDP had commanding votes.
The opposition party also added that apart from being intimidated by security officials, the APC led government also on the Sunday, February 24th, 2019 dispatched high-ranking officials to coercively influence outcomes in different geopolitical zones in the country.
The PDP National Chairman who insisted the INEC Data base had been hacked also called for the immediate release of one of its spokesperson Buba Galadima who was purportedly arrested by the DSS.
