The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has promised to disclose the number of permanent voter cards collected on Thursday.
INEC, which had earlier promised to disclose the figure on Wednesday says it met on the issue and will make the figures available on its website on Thursday.
The Commission also said it was happy that the two major political parties (APC and PDP) were criticising it but urged that it should not be seen as another political party.
INEC also refuted the claim that it was under pressure to manipulate the polls just as it denied the allegation that its data base had been infiltrated.
“our data base in not online so it can not be infiltrated” INEC said.
The commission also disclosed that it has achieved 100 percent reconfiguration of its smart card readers and it was ready to go ahead with the Saturday polls.
