Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court has ordered arrest of the Leader of the Indeginous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu for failing to appear in Court since he was granted bail in April 2017.
The presiding judge also ruled that the bail granted the IPOB leader be revoked.
The court ruled that the trial must continue and directed that a fresh date for the continuation should be given by parties so that the matter will continue in Mr Kanu’s absence.
