The Anambra South Senator-elect, Ifeanyi Ubah has refuted media reports that claimed that he had joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) after he attended a meeting organised by the party’s leadership for its members elected in the 9th National Assembly.
The APC National Chairman had informed the APC National Working Committee members, returning/newly-elected senators at the Presidential Villa, on Monday, that Ubah was now with the ruling party.
However, Ubah in a statement said he was just fraternising with the APC so as be a valuable member of the 9th Senator but was adamant that remains a YPP Senator.
Ubah said he went to the meeting in order to seek solutions to problems Igbo traders were having in Lagos.
Ifeanyi Ubah defeated the APC Candidate, Andy Ubah in the Abia South Senatorial Election.
