The Commissioner of Police in Bauchi State, Ali Janga, has warned all quasi security agencies to keep off polling stations and units across the state during the Saturday Governorship/House of Assembly elections.
Janga gave the warning while addressing newsmen on the command’s level of preparation for elections in Bauchi on Friday.
He said all unauthorised security personnel would not be allowed at the polling units and they were advised to stay away.
The commissioner said the command would not hesitate to deal ruthlessly with anyone who breached peace or disrupted election in the state.
He said that all important personalities and politicians were barred from going to poling units with their security details.
He said that the police and other security agencies would deal with miscreants and political thugs that might attempt to cause trouble during the election
