Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba has spoken of the killing of a Civil Defence Officer, Oga Jombo at Nyanya, a suburb area of Abuja on Wednesday.
Frank, at a media briefing released the photo of the late Oga adding that contrary to reports, those who killed the civil defence officer were traffic warders and not police officers.
He said the Civil Defence officer slumped while he was being interrogated at the police station and there was no physical violence marks on his body.
Frank promised that an autopsy on what led to his death would be released to the public.
It would be recalled that late Oga, who was in company of his wife and his two children, was reportedly stopped by the policeman for allegedly violating traffic rules around Nyanya axis of the Federal Capital Territory.
He was reportedly beaten with a baton and pronounced dead at the Asokoro General Hospital.
