The autopsy report carried out on the late Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps officer, Ogah Jumbo, during a violent encounter with two traffic wardens in Nyanya, Abuja, on March 19, 2019, showed that he died of ‘blunt blow to the head’.
Punch Newspaper reports that the post-mortem, which was conducted by Senior Consultant Anatomic Pathologists, Asokoro District Hospital, Dr K. Ezike and Dr I. Okwudire-Ejeh, assisted by Dr Abdulkareem, revealed that there was a bruise on the deceased’s forehead above the right eyebrow, measuring 2.5 x 1cm.
The report added that the victim’s right lung upper lobe, left lung lower lobe, right and left adrenal gland were retained for further examination.
A civil society group, Joint Civil Society Action Against Extra-judicial Killings, insisted that it’ll follow the case to its logical conclusion to ensure the late Ogah gets justice.
